Fun Day.

Today we visited with Grandma and Grandpa Davis again. Jeff's mom was kind enough to babysit Jeffy while we went on a little outing.

So Grandpa, Grandma, Jeff, and I went to a lovely little spot called Clover Springs. About 20 minutes away from the total desert we live in is a beautiful little oasis. Right off the road is a little spring coming out of the ground. It was nice and cool and we had a great time.

Grandpa, Grandma, and Jeff by the creek.

There were some interesting red plants under the water right by the edge. We couldn't figure out what they were, but they looked cool!

A huge dandelion. I should have put something in the picture as a reference.

A huge clover patch! Hence, "Clover Springs."

So pretty.

My sweetie.

Who knew real trees could grow in Utah's desert? :)

I like this one a lot.

It's amazing how much water came out of the little springs.

Another one.

Here's one of the springs where the water comes out of the ground.

From up on a hill.

I like this one too.

Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Visit!

Jeff's grandparents are visiting from Washington for a few days, and we're so excited to see them! This is their first introduction to Jeffy. We wanted to get some 4 generations with all the guys today, because Jeff's dad will be working all day tomorrow. I got some cute ones, but I think Jeff's mom got some better ones, since she has a nicer camera and they were all actually looking at her. But, here are some that are good enough.
Four Generations of Davis Men: Great Grandpa Paul, Grandpa Jeff, Daddy Jeff II, and Baby Jeffy III. I bet my Jeff likes these pictures because he looks so tall! :)

Our Morning Walk

Every morning (except Sunday) Jeffy and I go for a morning walk. It ends up being about two miles, and half of it is uphill, so it's a pretty workout for me. But, the scenery makes it all worth it. We live in a pretty remote area and it's beautiful. I took some pictures this morning to share.

Off we go!

If you ignore the septic tank, it's a pretty picture!

Our house.

Little hill right behind our house.

Farm down in the valley.

Little smiley man.

Wild sunflowers that grow everywhere.

Horsies!

The western rim of the valley.

Jeffy Blue Eyes.

Goldfish are a must!

He's having fun, I promise.

For about half of the walk, we're headed directly into the sun. Here's my baby protection!

Jeffy peeking out.

Usually I have a bigger blanket. Today I had to continually wrestle it away from Jeffy.

Peek-a-boo from within the stroller!

The eastern mountains of the valley that separate us from the Salt Lake Valley.

In back of our house.

Thank Goodness!

We finally got a new card reader so I can upload new pictures. I feel like posts need pictures to be worth it, so I've been slacking. I hereby pledge to be a better blogger! :)

The pictures below are when Jeffy and I went to see the Provo people in August.

This one is just awesome. He looks a little nervous.

Nice little park area close to where Hilary was living at the time.

What adoring aunts and uncle!

What can I say?

He just wasn't quite sure of anything.

These pictures are from Jeffy and my visit to Draper to visit my friend, Amanda/Kris, and her baby, Toby. He and Jeffy are only a few weeks apart and I hope they can be good friends.

They wouldn't look up at me. Oh well.

Out for lunch at Wingers.

They look like they're fighting. Hee hee.

Individual shots!

Jeffy looked the least fat in this one. What a chunk!

2nd Anniversary

Today is our Wedding Anniversary. All three of us are feeling under the weather--Jeffy the most--so we're postponing celebrations till we feel better. More to come later.
