Counting to Five!

I saw this idea on a friend's blog and thought I'd use it too. :)

1 little boy! I'm glad he was born first. He came to us Jan 9, 2008. He is such a sweet older brother and is going to take good care of his sisters.

2 little girls! Katelyn was born Sept 3, 2009 (happy 2 years soon!) and Rebekah was born Dec 27, 2010. Daddy's two little girls have a special place in his heart. Especially Katey, since she's old enough to really interact with him. He just can't resist those big brown eyes. :)

3 military moves! We moved from Utah to Charleston, South Carolina after Jeff finished Boot Camp in April 2009. Then from Charleston to Saratoga Springs, New York in April 2010. And most recently from Saratoga Springs to Saint Marys, Georgia. But we moved a good many times before joining the military too.

4 cars! Yes, we have bought 4 cars since we've been married. A little black Nissan days before we got married in 2006. A Chevy Silverado in 2007. A Dodge Caravan in 2009. And a Kia Sedona in 2011. Right now we have the Caravan, the Sedona, and Jane, Jeff's sentimental sports car his dad gave back to him. (We may collect cars like other people collect trading cards, but we have no car debt, so it's ok. :))

5 years of marriage. Which also includes: 9 different homes in 8 different states, 2 deployments, 1.5 college degrees, 32 months pregnant and/or breastfeeding, and many other adventures.

It's been a fun, albeit sometimes challenging, ride and there is no one I would rather be on this journey with than Jeff. I love him.

Happy Anniversary to us!

(I'm going to post pictures later when I have more time. :))

Go to facebook

Hey y'all.

You may have noticed I haven't posted in months. And that's probably going to be the trend. I don't have much interest in blogginy anymore. I've been keeping a regular journal, so there isn't a very big need for me to write here. If you want to see pictures of the kids (which is the only reason I blogged in the first place), head on over to facebook. If you're not my friend on facebook and want to see, friend me! And if you're not on facebook, leave a comment here with your email address and I'll send you a link to some new pictures. :)

The Peach State

(photo from here)

Guess who finally got orders!

Our family will be spending the next four years in Kings Bay, Georgia! We will be stationed at the Submarine Base there, where Jeff will serve on the USS Rhode Island. Exciting!

We're planning on making a family trip out west to Utah to see family sometime during the move and I'm excited! We have lots of planning to do, and I am really excited to settle down somewhere for a little while.

And I'm also excited for NO SNOW! :)

Money Baby

If you want a giggle, head over to Jeff's facebook page. We got out the cash to buy our car and it's in 20s. It was a pretty big stack, and we just had to take some pictures. Bekah was our model. :) Hence, our money baby.

Rebekah's Baby Blessing Pictures

Here are a few pictures of Bekah's blessing. These were the best few, but I uploaded all the ones of the kids into a picasa album. Click on the link below if you're interested in seeing them all.

I was getting her dressed, and she just looked so darn cute in just the bow, socks, and shoes that I had to snap a picture! And it's a great smile too.

My little blondie. :)

Yay! So happy! (and pretty)

Trying to get some shots of the whole gown, but she was done with pictures by this point! Can you tell how beautiful this lace is? My amazing mother-in-law made this gown for Rebekah, and got the lace in Amish country. What a great keepsake for Bekah, eh?

And the shoe picture. Cute!

While everyone looked cute and I had a pseudo backdrop set up, I took a few more pictures of the kids. Here's Jeffy's male model pose. :)

Katey was saying "cheese" over and over again, and I had to try to take the picture at the right time. :)

The best one of all three. Bekah may be crying, but at least she's upright!
