New York, New York

Wow, it's already April! The couple of weeks since my last post have flown by. I guess that's what happens when you're super busy. But, the busyness isn't quite over. We're here, but we're not moved in. Almost everything is still in the garage. I think a lot of it is going to stay there, but there are definitely some things that need to be unpacked soon. The only problem is that our home and our garage are not attached, and not even super close, so I don't feel comfortable going out there and leaving the kids inside, so that leaves most of it on Jeff, or for me to do when he's home. But we'll get there eventually.

So far I'm still ambivalent about New York. I got here Sunday afternoon, and yesterday (Thursday) was the first time I saw even a glimmer of sunshine! I'm sure it won't stay like that (hear the optimism there?!!) but I hope the suns comes out and stays out soon. It makes a big difference in my attitude.

It's still winter-ish here, but once spring does come, I think it will be very pretty. It definitely looks like it has a lot of potential to be green. I think once we're all settled in, we'll be happy here. But we'll probably only be here for 8 months, anyway. Ah, the joys of military life. :)

This weekend we're going to go out and explore Saratoga Springs and I'll post pictures so you all will want to come visit!! :)
