My mother-in-law told me that in the Military, the name of the game is "hurry up and wait." We're not even technically in the Navy yet, and this has proven to be true. Jeff was supposed to go to Richmond once to get tests done, fill out paperwork and basically join. Not so. He went down there last Friday, came back Saturday, went again on Monday, came back Tuesday, and is now waiting for more test results to come back next week so he can go down there again. Fun times, eh? Oh well. I guess it gets us used to Military life now. Hooray! But Jeffy is as cute as ever, and life is still great!

Oh what a cute BIG boy!!! SO CUTE!!
Bethany, I am glad you guys are feeling good about the Navy but sad you aren't coming back here! When am I ever going to see you and meet Jeffy? when is Jeffy going to play with Toby? Oh the sadness.
No but seriously, I'm glad things are working out well for you. And SERIOUSLY, Jeffy is SO stinkin cute! I can't believe he's sitting up already! Wow. See, you totally need to come over here so he can teach Toby how to do this stuff :)
Yep, hurry up and wait! I've even thought about cross-stitching that lovely little motto for decor. The military certainly teaches you patience.
Are you excited about becoming a military wife? It's a ton of fun, I've really enjoyed it!
Andy's dad served his career in the Navy, working on submarines with nuclear technology too. He is a retired Navy Captain now. It's pretty neat to hear all of the stories!
